Appearance: Small heavy rib cracking. Chunks of rubber have broken off from the undercord. Glazing on the side of ribs.


Cause: Usually begins as cracking but belt is left unattended. Belt age, high heat and stress are primary contributors. Possible worn automatic belt tensioner.















Solution: Replace belt immediately. Check belt tensioner for damping function and proper tension.
